After a nearly decade-long absence from the live-music stage former Athenian Julian Koster brings his project The Music Tapes back to Athens. This show will happen just as a brand new album, Music Tapes For Clouds And Tornadoes, will see release via Chapel Hill, NC’s Merge Records.
Koster was/is an integral part of the Elephant 6 collective of friends and artists and his performances with Music Tapes, Neutral Milk Hotel, Olivia Tremor Control and many others are the stuff of legend. This is a very special performance for the Athens PopFest and we are honored to have Koster return to Athens.
