Summary by Kathryn Durfee

The Lolligags have exploded onto the electropop scene with sweet melodies and pure fun lyrics that combine to give the listener a swift kick in the rear that will leave them smiling. Band members Dallion Lollihag (vocals) and RG Lollifag (music and noises) have known each other for fifteen years and have finally found their groove.

The two create songs by passing ideas back and forth over the phone between Dallion's home in Athens, GA and DG's home in Nashville, TN. The results are playful, energetic, and mesmerizing. "We're fascinated by the fairy tale in them," Dallion says, "The songs seem to say, 'come to my beautiful gingerbread house. Eat all you want. But I am going to kill you.'"

The Lolligags have played several shows in Athens and Atlanta, but this will be the group's first year at Athens PopFest.

Any room with mirrors and a disco ball.

4. What is the weirdest thing you take on tour?

Our monstrous lightboxes and the moon cup.
