Little Birds
Summary by Carrie Dagenhard
Little Birds started as Brooke Opie’s solo act. A musician her whole life, Opie played and recorded by herself for several years. Eventually, she assembled what is now a sixpiece group. Like many other bands of their genre, Little Birds plays an assortment of instruments including a horn section, a tambourine, and bells. The result is a well-polished symphonic affair that flows like a classic novel. Soothing, rich vocals and experienced instrumentation makes for a fulfilling listening experience that will melt your heart.
This is the band’s first Popfest. The band is currently recording their new album, which should be out within the next few months.
