Want to write an article?

Do you have some writing you want to contribute to Athens Exchange? We pride ourselves on giving new writers an outlet for quality work. We are also committed to making sure that citizen journalists, the people most involved in the issues, have a place to publish their work. We also welcome professional writers who want to contribute.

We're looking for writers to contribute movie, film, and book reviews, local news and views for Athens, GA, national politics, and world affairs. We also need writers to fill the following regular columns:

• Restaurant Reviews (in Athens)
• Cuisine
• UGA Sports
• Technology
• Digital Word (Around the Web column)

There are three ways to contribute an article to Athens exchange.

• Send an e-mail to contribute@athensexchange.com. Make sure to include your name, e-mail address, phone number, and a sample of your writing.
• You can mail it to us. Remember to include your name, phone number, a sample of your writing, and your e-mail address (if you have one). Our mailing address is:

All submissions, including photographs, may be published by Athens Exchange and will not be returned unless prior arrangements have been made. Submission of work for publication confirms that the author has read and agrees to abide by the Author Agreement.
