Earth Fare April Cooking Classes - Perkins Switching it Upby Meredith Roberts 04.04.2008 Last winter, Athens Exchange published an article on the local Earth Fare's culinary classes. For those of you who haven't taken a class yet, I highly suggest you do. A few things have changed, so I have a little update, as well as this month's class schedule. If you attend a class (or you could simply walk into Earth Fare and hunt down the instructor), you will be put on his e-mail list. The classes are now themed according to the people's votes when the instructor, Michael Perkins, sends out an email allowing attendees to vote. April's classes have yet to begin. There is one April 16th (Wednesday, as always) at 6:30 p.m. that will feature dips, as in those you can bring with a platter to an outdoor grilling party. More excitinglg in my point of view, Wednesday April 30th at 5:30, there will be a class on Picnics that will be taught outside! Many patrons of Earth Fare know there are tables and seats outside under a covered area. Perkins usually provides class attendees, both wannabe chefs and esteemed foodies, with the recipes that he cooks during the class, so if you are looking for some new summer dips and picnic foods, hit up Earth Fare in Five Points. Call 706-227-1717 to sign up. |

There are many cooking schools that have good success rates in placing their students in culinary industry. Students are provided with the academic and professional skills that are required to succeed in the job.
