New Salad Dressing: More Food From Italy
by Allison Carter Have you grown tired of the normal selection of salad dressing? Personally, I have never liked the taste of any of them. Ranch is the closest I get to enjoying store bought salad dressing.
Last semester I was looking for some sort of alternative and asked my step mom, a wonderful cook. She gave me an Italian dressing recipe. It is sooooo delicious and simple. It can be made within 5 minutes.
Here is the recipe:
¼ cup of olive oil 2 tablespoons of white wine vinegar 2 teaspoons of heavy cream 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise 1 ½ teaspoons of honey 1 clove of minced garlic ¼ teaspoon of Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese A dash of red pepper flakes A dash of salt and pepper
